AOL Integrates Facebook Chat Into AIM
Posted on 10 February 2010 by mybrandonline
AOL Instant Messenger is integrating Facebook Connect to allow AIM users to chat with their Facebook friends. The image to the right shows how the initial sign up will look.
We expect AOL and Facebook to make an announcement on the product on Wednesday, but you can try it now if you like at x.aim.com/facebook/preview.html. That’s a beta version, no word on when it will move into normal production.

this has been around for months … adium (os x), digsby (win for now) already do all types of chats … no ads, free …
I’ve never really been a big fan of Facebook chat. Maybe this will change that.
AOL also released an official AIM for Android app.
Seemlessly connecting IM to Facebook is long overdue and it adds a lot of value for AIM users…am impressed that AOL seems to be innovating faster than other internet portals like Yahoo or MSN.
why would i do that…? meebo.com already does that… and integrates other chat platforms…
